This is the baby from Blackburn&rsquo-s Local series of U-Locks- the Compact. The U-Locks are simple but well thought out pieces of user friendly engineering designed to deter thieves simply by sheer intimidation. Each one has a hexagonal shackle shape which prevents the shackle from spinning effectively doubling its resistance to cutting or leverage attacks. They&rsquo-re also bump and pick-proof and to cap it off are coated with a soft silicone sheath to protect your frame from nasty scratches.
